Tenant Settings

The Tenant Settings in the Switch Cloud Portal allows you to manage key configurations for your Tenant. From the Tenant Settings page, you currently can:

  • Configure your Tenant Networks' policies.

Tenant Networks

Tenant networks are internal, private networks that are automatically created and managed per tenant. They allow to connect servers across different projects within a tenant without needing to configure networking from scratch for each new project.

At the top of the Tenant Networks section, you'll see a list of existing tenant networks, including their region and unique identifier (UID). Below the network list, you'll find three configurable settings that let you define how tenant networks are used across your projects:

  • Make tenant networks available to all projects
Enable this option to allow all existing tenant projects to use the tenant networks.
  • Automatically add new projects to the tenant networks
When this is enabled, any new project created in your tenant will automatically be connected to the tenant network.
  • Allow tenant network removal for new projects
This setting lets users remove access to the tenant network from individual projects.

Important

These settings are enabled by default and are designed to offer a secure, consistent networking setup across your tenant.
