Project Members

Project members are users invited at the project level. They have full administrative rights within the project, including access to all services and resources it contains.

The first project member is invited after project creation by an organisation member. From there, project members can invite others to join with the same level of access and responsibilities.

Memberships in Service Instances

When a service (Compute or Kubernetes) is activated, all existing project members are automatically granted membership to the corresponding service instance. From within each service view, permissions can then be managed to tailor access to specific resources or features.

Invite a New Project Member

Inviting someone at the project level grants them full administrative rights within this project.

  • Navigate to Members in the sidebar menu.
  • Go to Members tab.
  • Click Invite member.
  • Enter the email of the person you wish to invite.
  • Click Invite to send an email invitation containing a link to join the project.

Invitation Flow and Rules

Navigate to Members > Invitations tab to view and manage sent invitations.

  • Expiration: Invitations expire after 7 days if not accepted.
  • Resend: If an invitation expires, you can resend it from the Invitations tab.
  • Revoke: You can revoke a pending invitation at any time, invalidating the invitation link.
  • Duplicate Invitations: If an invitation to the same email address is already pending, you cannot send another until the existing one is revoked, expired or failed.

Remove a Project Member

If you need to revoke access for a project member, you can do so at any time. Removing a user at the project level affects only that project and does not remove them from other projects.

  • Navigate to Members > Members tab.
  • Locate the user you wish to remove in the table.
  • Click Remove next to the user's name.
  • In the pop-up, click Confirm.

The user receives an email notifying them of the removal.
