Organisations
Overview
As an organisation owner, you have full administrative rights within your organisation and all associated projects. This means you can:
- Create and Manage Projects: Set up logical containers for different applications or workloads.
- View Audit Logs: Track and review actions taken across the organisation.
- Manage Organisation Membership and Invitations: Invite new organisation members or remove existing ones.
Important
This guide focuses on organisation-level actions. For details on how to manage specific project resources, refer to the separate documentation on how to manage a project.
Create a New Project
Projects allow you to organise and isolate different workloads or applications within your organisation.
- Navigate to Projects in the sidebar menu.
- Click Create a project on the top-right.
- In the new page, enter a Name and an optional Description for your project.
- Click Create Project to finalise.
If creation has succeded you will be redirected to the project's main page, where you can start managing your project.
Invite a New Member
As an organisation owner, you can invite new members to your organisation.
- From the sidebar menu, select Manage organisation.
- Go to the Users tab.
- Click Invite user.
- In the pop-up window enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
- Click Invite to send the Invitation.
The invitee will receive an email with an invitation link to join the organisation.
Invitation Flow and Rules
Navigate to Manage organisation > Invitations to create, view and manage invitations.
- Expiration: Invitations expire after 7 days if not accepted.
- Resend: If an invitation expires, you can resend it from the Invitations tab.
- Revoke: You can revoke a pending invitation, invalidating the invitation link.
- Duplicate Invitations: Only one invitation may be in the pending state for a given email address. You cannot send another until it is revoked, expired or failed.
Delete an Organisation Member
As an organisation owner, you may remove any organisation membership except your own.
- Navigate to Manage organisation > Users
- In the table, find the member you wish to remove.
- Click Remove on the right in the member’s row.
- In the pop-up window you will be given the option to also remove their memberships from all projects within the organisation.
- Click Remove user to confirm your choice and finalise the removal.
The removed user receives an email informing them of their removal from the organisation and any associated projects.
Important
Removing a user at the organisation level immediately revokes all their privileges, including access to all organisation projects, where they are not added as a member.
