Projects
Projects are distinct workspaces within your organisation, where required services are activated and their corresponding resources are managed. They are listed on the Projects page, which also serves as the landing page at the organisation level. From here, organisation members can:
- Get an overview of all existing projects and their associated resources.
- Create a new project.
Important
Projects page is the only view available at the organisation-level for users that are only associated to the organisation as project members. In this case, it provides a filtered list of only the projects where they are members.
Create a New Project
As an organisation member you can create a new project in the Projects page, by following the steps below:
- Click Create a project in the top-right corner.
- Enter a Name and an optional Description.
- Click Create Project to finalise.
Important
If creation is successful, you’ll be redirected to the new project's main page. From there, you can start managing your project and activate services. Also note, that all service instances activated will be named after the project.
Project Codes
At project creation, a unique code (e.g., #F4s6
) is generated and assigned to the project. This code:
- Is automatically added as part of the project name.
- Ensures project name uniqueness across the platform.
- Simplifies project and backend service instances identification.
Important
You can rename a project, but the project code is immutable and will remain part of it to ensure consistent linking.
